Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

The prototype of the Corvette was presented at the New York Waldorf Astoria Hotel in January 1953 and was
received so enthusiastically that Chevrolet put it into series production the next day, thereby breathing life into an
automobile legend. The Corvette was the first series car to have a fibreglass body. The Corvette, capable of 180 km/h,
drove directly into the hearts of all sports car enthusiasts. In 1956, a V8 engine was installed in this model, giving our
Corvette its sonorous sound.
